Sean Adams and Noreen Morioka gave an inspiring presentation last week for AIGA Atlanta. Afterwards, I overheard some of our local designers discussing how we need to make rock stars out of our local talent. It occurred to me that I had been so focused on how many of you are living in a bit of a limbo right now that I had not done a good enough job the first time around explaining how Steve teaches you to promote yourself as an expert.

For a good example of this, check out the bio that links from Brian Calkins’ testimonial. Look at the radio and TV appearances. Notice that he’s now a published author.

Within 4 years, I’ve watched (with a little envy) as this regular but driven guy from my first Mastermind took what we learned from Steve and made it work for him. He established himself as a national expert in his field while skyrocketing into something of a local celebrity in Cincinnati. The class didn’t do it for him but he’d be the first to tell you that he’s absolutely used the tools he got from our Results Now! class to get himself there.

The formula Steve uses in this class brings a variety of results depending on the intentions you set and how you apply yourself to the process. If fame and notoriety are your aspiration then he’ll give you those tools as he also makes sure you build toward using them on a firm foundation. If you are just trying to figure out a next major change in course, then you may have other priorities that take precedent right now and those skills will be in your back pocket for a time when you are ready to use them. (Afterall, who doesn’t secretly dream of being a little famous someday?!) The materials and process adapt to suit your immediate needs at the same time they stretch your sense of possibility.
